Overview

BrüMate is dropping a new design tomorrow in collaboration with Billabong. This is not a collaboration that we saw coming, but we welcome it anyway. BrüMate has been expanding outside of solely influencer collaborations as they’ve recently partnered with Starbucks overseas as well as recently started being sold at Target too. This releases at 9:30am MST (11:30am EST, 8:30am PST) on August 22nd, 2025. This collaboration is Limited Edition, so if you want it, you’ll want to grab it before it’s too late.

Billabong is an Australian brand specializing in clothing and accessories for surf, skate, and snow lifestyles. Once a popular name, the brand has struggled in recent years. Earlier this year, its parent company filed for bankruptcy and closed all U.S. brick-and-mortar stores, though Billabong remains available online and through various distribution channels. It’s good to see they’re not gone for good, and this collaboration reinforces that.

Design

Tropic Wave

A vibrant, tropical-inspired pattern featuring soft coral, peach, and pink leaves against a lavender base. It has a lively, beachy vibe that ties into Billabong’s surf heritage, while the pastel palette keeps it playful and modern.

Osmosis

A blue and cream pattern that mixes flowers and paisley shapes. The design has an all-over print that gives it a classic, coastal look. It has a calmer, more classic surf aesthetic compared to the bold Tropic Wave.
