Owala x Pokémon Is Coming to Target
Releases September 16, 2026
Overview
Target has started teasing a brand-new Owala x Pokémon collection, and the drop is scheduled for September 16, 2026. The early promo pointed to five designs: Charizard, Gengar, the original starter Pokémon trio, Pikachu, and Eevee. Shoppers have since found all five designs on Target shelves ahead of the official release.

As of September 9, 2026, the collection has not been officially released, but early shelf sightings have given collectors a clear look at all five designs. Official colorway names, exact sizes, and prices are still being confirmed.
This collab will go extremely fast, so be prepared. This is a dream collab for many Owala and Pokémon fans alike and is likely to be targeted by scalpers as well, so you’ll need to be on your A game to get one.
Target drops usually happen at 12am PST, so make sure that you put it in your calendar and subscribe to notifications in The Cupboard.
What is confirmed: five Pokémon designs, a September 16 release date, and Only at Target exclusivity. Early shelf finds have shown the designs before the official launch, but availability before September 16 is not guaranteed.
The Five Pokémon Designs
Thanks to early shelf finds, we now have a good look at all five designs even though the collection is not officially released yet. The lineup covers classic, cute, fiery, spooky, and nostalgic Pokémon themes without feeling repetitive.
Charizard
Charizard is the boldest-looking bottle in the group. The design uses a deep blue body with a large orange Charizard flying across it, framed by warm orange, red, and yellow flame-like graphics. The lid continues the same palette with bright blue, orange, and red accents.

Gengar
Gengar has a dark purple and black base with a large purple Gengar graphic. Bright cyan edging and abstract purple-blue shapes make the artwork feel energetic, while the matching purple lid and turquoise accents pull the whole design together.

Original Starter Pokémon
The original starter design is a dark, starry pattern featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle throughout the bottle, along with Poké Balls, leaves, stars, water droplets, and small flames. The orange lid and green handle add contrast to the dark green background.

Pikachu
Pikachu’s design is bright and electric, with Pikachu centered on a light blue background surrounded by yellow lightning-bolt graphics and energetic splash details. The yellow lid, white band, and blue lower section give it a classic Pikachu palette.

Eevee
Eevee’s design uses a pale cream base and features Eevee front and center with Vaporeon and Sylveon above it, plus hints of other Eeveelutions around the bottle. Pink, blue, yellow, and orange details keep the design playful without overpowering the softer background.

Models, Sizes, and Prices
The designs are clear from early shelf sightings, but the complete release details have not been officially posted yet. Early photos show 16oz bottles so far; exact pricing and the full online and in-store launch schedule are still not confirmed.
- Model: FreeSip
- Sizes: 16oz confirmed
- Prices: Not announced
- Availability: Target exclusive; online and in-store timing has not been confirmed
We are still waiting to see the official colorway names, exact pricing, which styles will be available online and in stores, and whether the early shelf finds are limited to select Target locations before September 16.
Where to Buy
The teaser labels this an Only at Target release, so Target will be the destination when the collection officially drops on September 16, 2026. Although shoppers have found some bottles on shelves early, the collection is not officially released yet and availability may vary by location.
Final Thoughts
Now that early shelf photos have revealed all five designs, the collection feels even stronger. Charizard and Gengar bring the bold standalone looks, the starter pattern adds a nostalgic all-over print, Pikachu delivers the classic electric color palette, and Eevee gives the lineup a softer, evolution-filled option.
For now, keep September 16 marked. The early shelf finds are exciting, but the official launch is still the date to watch if you want the best chance of finding one.
